WOMB is a physical sanctuary located in Cairns, Far North Queensland, where women and families can gather for continuity of care, emotional healing, and community connection.
What makes WOMB unique is our collaborative approach. We bring together midwives, doulas, counsellors, and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that supports women holistically
A space born out of our shared vision to create a supportive, healing, and empowering community for women and families navigating the challenges of pregnancy, birth, miscarriage, and the transition to parenthood. Founded by two passionate women, Perri and Caitlin, WOMB is a place where holistic care, emotional support, and education come together under one roof.
Together, Perri and Caitlin are committed to transforming the landscape of perinatal care in Far North Queensland, making WOMB a beacon of hope, healing, and community connection. We are proud to bring our experience, passion, and shared vision to life through WOMB, where every woman is supported, every story is honoured, and every bond is nurtured.
With extensive experience as a doula, Perri has supported countless women through the most transformative and vulnerable moments of their lives. She is deeply committed to trauma-informed and respectful care that empowers women to heal and thrive. Having personally experienced the grief and isolation of pregnancy loss, Perri felt driven to create WOMB—a nurturing space where women feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Her compassionate approach to care is grounded in empathy, holistic healing, and a genuine belief in the strength of the mother’s bond.
Caitlin brings years of experience as an Endorsed midwife, with a focus on providing continuous, respectful, and empowering care for women and families. Her dedication to holistic maternal health is evident in her compassionate and informed approach to every stage of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Caitlin, too, has experienced the heartache of pregnancy loss, inspiring her mission to ensure that no woman has to face the journey alone. Her work at WOMB is about building trust, offering expert medical and emotional support, and empowering women to embrace their journey with confidence and care.
Meet the team
Perri Louise, mother of three, Doula, Counsellor, Childbirth Educator and intuitive healer — co-founded WOMB after years of supporting women through their most vulnerable and transformative life experiences.
Having personally experienced pregnancy loss, medical trauma, and the isolation so many women feel during matrescence, Perri felt deeply called to create a space that honours the whole woman — body, mind, heart, and spirit.
WOMB is the embodiment of her mission: a haven of continuity, compassion, and conscious care. A place where women can come exactly as they are, and be met with gentleness, wisdom, and unwavering support.
Alongside Endorsed Midwife Caitlin Mason — herself a fierce advocate for maternal mental health — Perri is transforming perinatal care in Far North Queensland. Together, they are reimagining what it means to mother, to heal, and to belong.

Caitlin Mason
Caitlin Mason, mother of two, Endorsed Midwife, co-founded WOMB and fierce advocate for maternal mental health, is the heart and hands behind Beneath the Palms Midwifery.
Her work is rooted in the belief that women deserve more than just medical care — they deserve partnership, presence, and emotional safety. Having personally experienced the pain of pregnancy loss and the complexities of motherhood, Caitlin brings profound empathy and unwavering strength to every connection she makes.
Through Beneath the Palms, Caitlin offers more than check-ups and care plans — she offers a sanctuary. A space where women are gently guided to trust their bodies, explore their choices, and feel wholly supported in their becoming.
Her collaboration with Perri at WOMB is an extension of this mission — a shared vision to transform perinatal care in Far North Queensland through holistic support, heartfelt connection, and the kind of deep, woman-centred care that lasts well beyond birth.

BRIDGET LYNN
Bridget Lynn is a Doula and certified Birth Debriefer with a deep commitment to supporting women through the sacred, complex and often unspoken transitions of birth and motherhood.
At WOMB, Bridget offers doula support, birth debriefing, and presence-led care that bridges the emotional and energetic gaps so often left behind in traditional perinatal systems.
With a background in trauma-informed care and a devotion to holding space for women to be fully witnessed, she specialises in birth debriefing — gently guiding mothers through the layers of their birth experiences with compassion, clarity and care.
As a mother herself, Bridget understands the silent initiations that live inside matrescence — the ones that shift our identities, reshape our bodies, and rewire our nervous systems. She holds space not just for birth, but for integration, honouring each woman’s path with tenderness and deep listening.
jakara Enders
EMDR Therapist and Counsellor
Jakara Enders, mother of four, Social Worker, EMDR Therapist and founder of Unfurl, brings a deeply compassionate, trauma-informed presence to WOMB.
With a long-standing background in child and youth mental health, family support, and perinatal wellbeing, Jakara’s work is guided by intuition, evidence, and heart. Her approach is rooted in the belief that parents don’t need to be perfect — they need to feel resourced, seen, and held. With warmth and clinical integrity, she supports families as they move through the complexities of healing, parenting, and self-discovery.
Jakara offers individual EMDR therapy and counselling for women navigating trauma, matrescence, and the emotional intensity of raising children. Her work is both practical and nurturing — weaving together neuroscience with maternal wisdom, nervous system safety with relational care.
She also facilitates Circle of Security and Protective Behaviours workshops, empowering parents to cultivate secure attachments and emotional resilience within their families.
